Nylacast Moly

Nylacast Moly is a specialised cast nylon that includes Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2). This addition boosts its cast nylon hardness, enhancing machinability and mechanical and anti-friction properties.

The MoS2 configuration in Nylacast Moly is designed to break down just before reaching melting temperature, improving the thermal properties compared to the primary grade.

Nylacast Moly offers a degree of self-lubrication to improve wear resistance and reduce water absorption. This addition expands the range of suitability for applications. Furthermore, Nylacast Moly is well-suited for dynamic bearing applications, with operating temperatures up to 105ºC.
