Spreading the Joy this Festive Season

"Random Acts of Kindness - Spreading the Joy" 

As the holiday season approaches, Nylacast is gearing up for a month dedicated to making a difference with its annual Advent Challenge. This year’s theme, "Random Acts of Kindness - Spreading the Joy," is all about giving back. Throughout December, Nylacast is pledging to complete a range of activities and initiatives, aimed at uplifting community members, local organisations, employees and individuals.

The Nylacast team has outlined a series of Random Acts of Kindness to be carried out during this season, including:

• Hosting dinners & lunches for local community groups, to bring people together in the spirit of the season.
• Supporting Leicestershire Cares' Christmas Appeal, to assist local families and individuals in need.
• End-of-Year Charity Raffle, with proceeds going to a local charity.
• Donating food and toy parcels. to both the RSPCA and Dogs Trust.
• Supporting a local food bank
• Contributing to "Toys on the Table" with The Salvation Army.
• Internal Random Acts of Kindness

How you can get involved:

The Random Acts of Kindness campaign invites not only Nylacast employees but also the larger community to participate. Whether it's joining in on one of the above initiatives or carrying out your own small acts of kindness, every effort counts. You could pledge to:

• Help out at a local shelter or food bank.
• Support a nearby family in need.
• Spread holiday cheer in your own way, whether through donating toys, delivering meals, or simply lending a helping hand.

To inspire and track these efforts, from mid-November, Nylacast will be setting up a “Random Acts of Kindness Tree – Spreading the Joy.” Everyone is welcome to write down their pledge and add it to the tree as a reminder of their commitment to making a difference.
