As part of Nylacast’s 12 month campaign on Health, Safety & Wellbeing the Leicester based company recently provided a number of free yoga classes for staff during June.
Stress can often be a root cause to many mental and physical health problems in today’s day and age. The yoga sessions and classes were offered to all staff on site at Nylacast’s UK manufacturing plant and world headquarters based in Leicester.
It was a good opportunity for both team building amongst colleagues and the introduction of a stress management technique which can be adopted and practised in everyday life.
Kashyap Palmer, who works in sales admin and attended the yoga classes commented, ‘the yoga classes offered to us by Nylacast were really enjoyable and relaxing, we learnt new yoga techniques which I now practice regularly.’
Stress management was Nylacast’s monthly topic for Health, Safety & Wellbeing, with the yearlong campaign focusing on different areas each month, from manual handling to summer sun protection and hydration.
