Nylacast Say Farewell To Professor Malcolm Fox After 42 Years
We said our goodbyes to 42 valued years with our longstanding colleague, Professor Malcolm Fox here at Nylacast.

Professor Malcolm Fox is a leading expert in engineering polymers and was previously head of Research and Development at Nylacast. He was responsible for several significant products and process developments such as Heat Stabilised PA6 / PA612, Antibacterial Nylon and Nylube, one of our most important product lines. In addition, he worked closely with the Army, Navy and Airforce, presenting the benefits of Nylacasts materials and solutions.
Malcolm Fox has been an excellent mentor to many of his engineering students, encouraging them to pursue a master’s degree in polymer science. In his own words, “It has been a very good experience between academic life and business, bringing in people into the business and helping them develop”.
His dedication and work for the academy, industry, and individuals personally has inspired us at Nylacast. The difference he has made will never be forgotten!
