Nylacast are pleased to have engaged with Lord Green and highlight some of the pioneering technologies and services for the offshore industry stemming from the UK.
Leicester based Nylacast were present as exhibitors at one of the world renowned events and conferences for the International Offshore, Oil & Gas industry, OTC 2012 which was held in Houston at the beginning of May. Showcasing their engineering polymer solutions at the event, Nylacast were pleased to have welcomed Lord Green, UK minister of State for Trade & Investment who kindly took a moment from his tight schedule to stop by the Nylacast stand.
Nylacast group CEO, Mussa Mahomed was present at the event and was able to present Lord Green with an insight into Nylacasts activities and some of the value adding solutions which have been specifically created for the industry. Nylacast have been working closely within the Offshore, Oil & Gas industry for over four decades, achieving enhanced performance and added value to numerous applications and projects through their advanced materials technology and engineering expertise.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom since 1967, coupled with strategic worldwide locations and facilities in South Africa, UAE and the USA, the UK pavilion was the location of the Nylacast stand at OTC which was one of many companies proud to represent UK manufacturing. Mussa Mahomed commented at the event, “OTC never fails to deliver for Nylacast and this year was no exception, great business opportunities were provided and a welcomed visit by Lord Green in support of our Export drive”.
Lord Green was pleased to learn that with over 75% of its business being export from the UK, Nylacast provide engineering polymer solutions worldwide, with extensive experience in projects from the Asia-Pacific through to the North Sea providing components and solutions as diverse as sheaves, pipe in pipe spacers and ROV components.
