The Nylacast Automotive Team recently sponsored and participated in the Next Generation Steering Systems Summit 2023, in Dearborn, USA, from 25-26 April 2023.
This summit connected leading OEM and Tier1 industry players (GM, Ford, Volvo Trucks, Toyota, Robert Bosch Automotive Steering, FCA/Stellantis, Hyundai Mobis, Denso, Knorr-Bremse, Mitsubishi, Thyssenkrupp Presta, Schaeffler, ZF, Bendix, JTEKT and other top technology companies) to discuss and explore the next-generation of EPS systems for passenger and commercial vehicles.
The summit focused on the latest developments in Steer-by-Wire, the “life” after Steer-by-Wire, Electrification and Autonomous Driving, Safety Requirements, Connectivity, Standardization and New Methods of Virtual Validation, Software Defined Vehicles and more.
Nylacast Automotive develops and manufactures safety-critical, high-precision, polymer-based components for EPS and braking systems. Our worm gears are broadly recognised as world-class products by the major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers of EPS systems within a variety of steering and braking architectures.
Attending these events is of extreme relevance for Nylacast Automotive as it enables the Team to meet its key worldwide partners, as well as expand its network to other (emerging) relevant players in the automotive steering world. Moreover, another important aspect of these events is the opportunity to share technical knowledge about the actual and future challenges of EPS systems for commercial and passenger vehicles.
